Dash Light Problem
Turning the rheostat does cause a light that just hangs behind the far left of the dash to flicker.
Someone also installed a radio, which also does not work.
This is how the truck worked when I purchased it.
I have taken the dash pad and bezel off and have easy access to the instrument panel back. The back is brittle. When I took out one of the cluster bulbs part of the back of the cluster back came with it. So I know the cluster back needs to be replaced.
But, after reading other posts, I'm concerned that this alone may not get this fixed. I'm obviously a novice to this and am looking for the suggestions of others. I'd like to make nice driver out of this truck. I intend to keep the miles down, but do plan to drive and enjoy the truck. Suggestions of how to fix these items and any other tips requested.
Thanks.
