Exclamation Have a few questions about a 96 F150 xlt

the truck is a 96 f150 4x4 xlt with a 3 inc body lift. my question is how big of tires can i fit, i have after market rims witch changed the offset, also i have a 5.0 in the truck, its only topped out at 85, is that normal or what? the last thing is the dash lights, i stopped the other night to get an injured owl off the road, and when i got back in the truck the instrument cluster lights were off i twisted the **** thats suppose to turn them on multiple times and nothing happened, i checked this morning and it blew the fuse, i replaced it and the lights still dont work, what else could be wrong, all the other lights work when i use the switch just not the dash lights

I would think a set of 35's would fit snugly with a 3" lift, I can get my truck to 110mph by GPS ('95 F150 302 AODE/W on 33's with 16" after-markets) but we will not discuss how I know this, I think you may have to look into what gear ratio your truck is, larger tires can already do that, my 33's brought me down to 93mph max.

As for your cluster lights, check the fuse, if it's blown again, you probably have a short in the wires for those lights.

I have fit 33s on a 100% factory f150, so 35s may fit if your not scared of using a grinder.

Check it again to see if it is blown, if it's blown again, there has to be a short, if it's not blown, there has to be bad wire.

I do not see any issue with it, but I would get a 4A in there asap just to be sure it won't fry things out.

Your 5.0 is not going to like turning 35s. You'll need to regear to at least 4.10 to 4.56.
