Almost....

Had the privilege to drive this around for about 48 hours while the dealer worked numbers on my trade. I have to say, the 6.7's are extremely nice! Quiet, extremely quick, smooth and fairly fast. Unfortunately, I had to turn her back in because the number's weren't right for me.

That's a good looking truck. That had to be tough to walk away from.

Very nice truck....

Tip: Always work the numbers first before test driving. Sends a statement to the sales dept.

Well... That was the original plan... Until they "accidentally" locked MY keys in their appraisers office because he left before we did. So at 9:00 at night, they gave me that one to take home with a full tank of diesel, so I kept it for two days. Put 300 miles on her.

Was kind of tough to turn her in, but I missed mine. It did convince me to get some stuff done such as new windshield, tires and seats re-colored

Second that comment. Aftermarket wheels/tires and a bull bar! That truck looks friggin sweet. I was thinking about starting a tread talking about what would be the perfect truck. You know from a project vehicle perspective but this 6.7 forum is probably not the place for it. I just got to thinking that what if I actually had the $700. I make in truck payments and used half of that toward a custom project vehicle. I do half the work and allow a trusted mechanic do the stuff I can't. Think of the possibilities. Electrical, suspension, power train all to your specifications. Just saying you can get a 500 ci and plus sized engine and just go nuts with the configuration.
I love my 6.7. I miss that deep throaty exhaust note of a gasser. If I ever sell my truck it will be for a drivable project vehicle. Anybody know what tread would be appropriate to start this conversation?
