PullRite SuperGlide "ISR" series hitch ?

Anyone running one of the PullRite SuperGlide "ISR" (#2700 or #2900)hitches in the 2011 or newer superduty ??

These mount on what they call industry standard rails... meaning they do not need the PullRite bedrails to mount. I am tempted to pull my husky manual slider and drop in one of these onto my Husky bed mounted rails.

Only catch is I an running a bed cover so I need to make sure it will fit underneath the cover. The company says the hitch is 18.5" tall but that doesn't tell me if that measurement is including the mounting feet/tabs that sit down into the bed mounted rails. It will be really close to being either to tall or fitting....

Can someone measure how tall the hitch sits mounted up ??

Here is where I am looking at these :
PullRite has a SAFER, STRONGER, BETTER designed hitch for you

Pullrite superglide

Hello, I have a pullrite superglide #4400 (20k). I really like as it gives me peice of mind that I wont strike my rear window with my fifth wheel. Just connect and forget. It is very heavy and you'll need 2 people to set it in the bed but it is very. very solid. I also used the super rail set up as it mounts on the frame and is much more solid and secute than the standard bed rails which attach to the frame with 4 small brackets. the superrails can be removed leaving the bed totally flat ( cover the bed with a heavy duty bed mat. The only drawback for some people is that you have to use a special metal plate to attach to the kingpin which allots the sliding movement to work (not a big deal). There are many good hitches out there but for me the pullrite superslide was hands down the best.

I have the Pullrite Superglide #4100 (16K), and with the rails flat on the bed floor of the truck the highest point of the hitch is 5" below the the top of the bed rails. I am sure you cover will work fine.

I have the Pull-rite #2900 and yes it will fit under a bed cover. I do however have the lower feet option installed. I think that saves about 1.5 inches. Hitch works great! Nice having that piece of mind.

Thank you for all the info !!

Now to decide... the #2700 (15k) or the #2900 (18k).
The 15k would be enough hitch for my current toyhauler but always nice to have the extra capacity of the heavier duty hitch.

I actually have an 18k of this model for sale right now. Used it in my F250 and loved it. Just upgraded to a F350 DRW with the factory hitch and alas, no more Pullrite. As folks said above no issues with the bed cover, I used a Trifecta on my F250 and it fit over the top just fine.

Let me know if you are interested, I'll price it to move...

Get the 18k. You won't regret it if you ever upgrade to a bigger fifth wheel. Plus it's nice having that safety factor. I bought mine off of Craigslist. Was only a yr old and like brand new for half the price.

Just a little off subject, I had 16K SuperGlide with SuperRails in my 04 SRW F 250. I sold that hitch, now use a Super 5th on this F350 DRW. I love Pullrite hitches. And, so will you. They are heavy, but very well made. And, their tech people are quite friendly and knowledgeable. They offered measurements and advice on the Super 5th hitch to my bed manufacturer while the bed was being fabricated and later when the bed was being installed. Again, great people to deal with. Good luck, you won't be disappointed with Pullrite!!

I just had an 18K Superglide with SuperRails installed on my 2014 F350 SB, CC, SRW truck with Bakflip hard tonneau cover and this hitch doesn't not clear the cover. I tried just pulling the head off the hitch but the base unit still contacts the cover. Hoping there's someway to lower this hitch down. I'll take some pictures and measurements tomorrow when I'm not so pissed off.

I have a 16K Superglide on my 2011 F250. Theres plenty of room on my truck, my cover doesn't even come close to hitting my hitch. If your concerned you could always take off the top of the hitch, Its wayyyyy lighter than the base section. Yes you ll need two ppl to pull that thing out or a cherry picker.

Tried that and it still didn't clear. I'd be ok with just having to do that each time, but it didn't seem to fit even with the head off. Seems Pullrite sells a set of low profile "feet" that I'm checking into. These are supposed to lower the hitch by 1 1/2 inches in the truck.

Here's some pics of my Superglide 18k hitch mounted on their ISR and pins. This hitch is mounted in a 2014 F350 CC, SB, SRW PS Diesel and a Bakflip folding tonneau cover. The hitch does not clear the cover. Talked with Pullrite and I've got the shorter feet so that's not an option. Ended up taking the head off (not a big deal as it's only 2 pins and about 20lbs) and making to strategically placed "dimples" in the underside of the cover to clear the hitch. This hitch is 18 1/2inches tall and sits on the 3inch rails. Inside clear in the truck is 20inches from bed to rail. AND the Backflip top is flush with the rails, meaning an 1inch of top is below the rails, so as you can see it doesn't fit. The 24k model of the hitch is 15 1/2inches, so it might work or I could buy an above bedrail cover. Both options were more than I wanted to spend. My fix was a little redneck, but it works and didn't cost anything.
