Dragging sound when in 4x4

I get a dragging sound when I engage 4x4. the 4x4 works, but you can hear a dragging sound and you can feel it while driving in 4x4, especially when turning. it engages and disengages perfect though. any ideas? 2006 fx4 supercrew

Do a physical inspection. I think something might be hanging up on you 4wd system.

I wrapped my heat shroud off my cats around my front drive axel once.
