Haha, thanks! Yea.i was typing and then wham...im behind...THANKS fellas as usual! I hope to get her back on the wheels tonight.im at rural king right now getting 1/2 " bolts to retrofit the shock mounts to match my bilsteins.
It will be so good to be back on the road again.its weird,i drive it for a few weeks and get bored with it.by then i have something i either want to do or need to do to it.so i drive the ol dodge while im working on it (when i have time) ...then im in the dodge and all is well for like 2 days and im pissed and want clifford back in action...im just never happy i guess. Even if nothing is wrong i have to find something to do to it...ahh
I didn't realize you had auto hubs Aaron. I was thinking you were talking about the snap ring that goes one the axle with the two washers behind it. But, if what is in this pic is what you need, I've got all that stuff.
Bill, I have super winch manuals but it came originally with autos by the nut having the shoulder. I honestly had not payed much attention until this deal.
My buddy at the parts store had the parts in the pic in stock. I already owe you bill. But I am hopefully going to put it together in a min. I will just save that good will for later and maybe by then I can pay you back at least a little?
I am deffinetly in a much better place now than 24 hours ago!
haha I may not owe ya buddy but I dont forget a friend! Just as soon as my 3 yr old is asleep im out there! Im glad to be in a better place with everything that is going on.
AND I pulled 3 pistons out of the core engine to boot.I still cant figure out what was wrong that it was pulled. The cylinders all have the crosshatch still.
Anyone ever see a dusted engine have too much taper yet still have crosshatch intact?? Supposedly it had a headgasket failure but I found no evidence when I pulled the heads.
You'll get more done than I did today. I got my CB installed, fog lights wired up, and changed the oil. I still haven't drilled and tapped my manifold for the EGT probe, I should have done that today, but I've been lazy all day LOL!
I wanna get the engine pulled out of the donor truck and get it on a stand so I can tinker with it this winter.
Aaron, i have auto hubs out of my d60 that i was gonna sell to a guy on here but he never got back with me. What part do you need maybe i can help or am i to late.
Im glad im not the only one there. My shop gets a little attention once in a while.Mostly cause i get what i have to get done, done and have 10 other things needing attention.
Well, the hub is back together and all good, shocks are mounted correctly and pass rear for the first time in my ownership has a functioning window.
its good not to have that rattle along for the ride!
i also am happy cause this procharger that is in my way will leave soon and i can tear into the T after i build this trans...wooo hoo there is a tunnel at least...that light is so far away,at least its there i suppose...
Oh crap, yea, still have to fix driver seat and seat belt.aww maybe that will wait a few days.im tared!
