No pix of the body mounts. You cant use the sc rear body mounts because of the way they are made. Im guessing by your sig that you have a standard cab truck? Measure wherer the bolt holes are for the rear cab mounts. Youll notice they are closer together. I redrilled the crew to match those and built a new crossmember to sit the bushings on. The cab clears that stepup by 2" like i said earlier.
oic, you used body mounts inside the frame instead of outside the frame like the Scab has. I'm still not 100% clear on it, but now at least I know you weren't talking about moving the stock mounts.
I suppose it will really depend on what condition the cc frame is in. If it is good, I think I'll stretch it then blast/paint it. If not, I'll use the scab frame.
Any idea on what that Scab frame is worth? or a scab cab? I'm going to have the floors and cab corners fixed, prime it then sell it if I get the crew.
The frame and cab are only worth as much as someone is willing to pay. I missed out on a 78 sclb 4wd f250 rolling chassis the other day for $400. My sc right now is gutted and needs cab corners and i priced it at $300.
frame is worth $200 without the rears. far more than scrap. Especially if you have a title to go with it. The CC frame might be worth even more than that. Also depends on loction, seems like in the southwest frames never rot so there are more of them. In the northeast you can actually sell them because there are always people looking for one in better shape than theirs.
