Changed the HPOP lines today

Well I finally had the time to get these done. I can't believe how fast they were off. In less then 5 min I had 3 of them off. The fourth took a couple more min, but still very simple. I was a little nervous of this but wasn't a biggie at all. Now new lines good to go and some spares just in case. Those quick connects sure don't seem like they would hold the pressure very well. My truck is cranking for a while now before starting now, I think I remember somebody saying that the HPOP oil level is low then. Can't imagine what little I spilled would cause this but will check. How full is the HPOP supposed to be?

About 1/2" from the top (give or take...) It will take a few driving cycles for the starting process to normalize.

It's probably just trying to work the air out of the system. Since your engine requires 500 psi for the truck to start, and air is compressible, it will simply have to pump enough to push all the air through the hoses, and it should be fine after that.

I had to read that twice. 4 of them off? I only changed 2, then figured you must have meant fittings. hah.

So do you think just drive it for a couple of days and see where we go from there? There couldnt have been more then 1/4 quart of oil.

I kinda thought about that when I wrote it, but figured we would all figure it out right
