Have had my new explorer for about a month, and have noticed a wire running from the top of the windscreen headlining and down to the rear view mirror stalk. Does's anybody know what it is for? Is it part of the Limiteds electronic dipping mechanism.

 

It powers the auto-dimming feature of the rearview mirror.
