Question Do 38's fit a 79 f250 with a 6 inch skyjacker?

Building a 1979 f250 with a 6 inch skyjacker lift trying to figure out what size of tire will fit was thinking maybe going with a 38x13.5x16 or maybe a 14.5 I don't want tire rub, the lift with 33 inch tire now sits about 33 inches of the ground to the bottom of the cab or should I go with a 37? Thanks guys

It should fit. I have 35's on stock height 74 f250. Skyjacker says 36" with a 2" inch lift but I'd bet 38" will fit with a 2". Your biggest issue would be the steering box, depending on if your running a saginaw conversion or not.

Being that you have a 79 it should be about the same height with a 6" lift as mine with a 2" lift.

I'd say they would fit with plenty of room to spare.

79 With a 6" skyjacker "kit' front and rear new leafs with 36x12.50x16.5 HUMVEE takeoffs then with lots of room cause it will not flex for sure, "Soft Ride" hahahah more like a buck board wagon.

And some more with 35x14.50? Tsl's with lots of room even on a easy stuff.... I have 38's and 39's I would bolt right on and only worry about the little bottom edge of the front fender. Just long enough till the sawzall hit it.
