warped head
i have had an exhaust manifold leak for the past year or two. i had them redone twice at two different places. both times, it was quieter for a few weeks and then right back to sounding the way it did before. it was never 100 percent, even directly after the repair. i brought the truck to a third shop to look at the leak and they said it has a warped head. crap. do you think this is likely? i mean it kind of makes sense. id pull the head but i think id rather wait for the rest of the motor to blow up and just rebuild everything. i just rolled 193k miles but i know these sixes have a reputation to last much longer.
