my truck has thrown that code before several months ago,but I thought it had to do with the engine not being warm when I ran the test. I cleared the code and it has never came back.

That is a very good point.....not warming up the engine/transmission before running the KOEO or KOER tests will trigger false codes.
ok iam back everyone.... been a little bit. but iam back to give a report. so the truck is still running pretty good. a while back i lost alot of power from the motor and couldnt figure it out. would start and run great. but while driving she just had no get up and go at all.... i couldnt leave a vw beetle at the line if i tried lol. thought maybe i fried the tranny.......... but after cleaning my air filter i noticed the ele choke had turned and kept my sed's from opening even when warm.... lol i was so happy to have the power back. so after all this time the only thing i have noticed is that she shifts jus a little to soon. in each gear if your going wot. if iam just driving around town it seems to be spot on. i asked a few people about it and one old man said that changing the tire ratio settings can make it shift at differnet points for different trie size and speedo readings.... he told me all about the key off and hold the reset turn key on the gauge swep and then change the number.(with the psom wire grouded) anyone think i should try this? iam also considering hooked back up the water temp sen for the computer i cleaned up some and found a good spot if anything that would help the problem. o and thanks for the diagram. i was looking for one like that but couldnt find it...
It sure would be nice to have some more information on this if it's still working...I am sure that there are a lot of people out there that could use the info.
