Getting Behind/ Under Dash
'04 CC Lariat
Somewhere behind the dash the is an odd rattle that seems to coincide with the nothing except maybe vehicle vibration. Its getting very annoying now, I have pulled the glovebox and reached around and found nothing. Not that there is much room to move around. Reached from underneath, but with my t-rex arms and Mickey Mouse hands cant get to much.
Anyhow is there an "easy" way to gain access in there?

When I use to drive my grand kids around, I lost two dollors in dimes Qurt, and nickles in the dash vents,does that mean my truck is worth more now, it rattled around just a thought or have a smaller arm grand kid reach for you , by the way my slot machine defrost /floor heat changer only gave back .75c and cost me about 100

Turn the key just far enough to unlock the gearshift move it as far down as you can get it.
Tip the steering wheel down ll the way. With a plastic pry tool work at the point
between the plastic of the dash. Slowly work the assembly loose. You then have to
reach behind the loose dash and disconnect the wires. After they are all out place the dash
plastic in a safe place. Now you have full access.

hadn't had time to get to it yet. job was moved up a few days. it'll be about the 30th before I have time to get to it. 16-18hr days till then. I will update once I get in there though. with or with out success :-)
