Question for dp

i know this came up in a thread not too long ago but I can't seem to find it. My questing is what is the difference between your stock tune and the original stock tune of the truck? Thanks sorry to repeat this

Shifting. The shifting should help extend the life of the tranny. I had the same question last year.

DP stock tune is better than stock factory tune? How so?

Stock shifts "luxuriate"... where DP shift get down to business without clunking. Not a big change, but one that counts over a lot of stops and starts.

I have a "modified" stock tune. It was modified for my larger single shot injectors. The shift characteristics are the same as my economy tunes; with the factory speed limiter removed per my request. My "stock" tune's shift characteristics were tweaked to compliment my transmission mods during live tuning. Most of us have the same basic mods, but live tuning is the best way to get the most out of your truck when you go beyond that. No two trucks are exactly alike and need some tweaking to get the full benefit of the entire package even in a relatively stock form.
