Bad Relay switch??
We started having this issue with our 2003 5.4 Eddie Bauer Expedition, when I turn the ignition switch the gauges turn on and lights turn on, but the engine will not crank. I did some research and got to looking at the relay switches. I pulled the #203 relay and the middle pin was black and the plastic was partially melted, as was the plastic on the relay panel. Today the battery was drained, not sure if the problem is related. (nothing was left on for the battery to be drained) Could it be that this relay switch is staying energized for some reason?
