Purchase a new aftermarket manifold. Stock units use differing patterns and are not always usable.
Use a 400 to 500 CFM carb with vac secondary's anything more is overkill.

Im thinking about that myself, I have the oem 4v manifold off my 390 parts truck, but I would want to run a 4100 and they seem hard to come by.

What year is the parts truck? 390's not available in F100/350's until 1968.
1974/76 F100/350's were available with a 390 4V as an option,
4th digit of VIN is the engine code:
M
4th digit of VIN: 1965: D = 352 2V / 1966/67: Y = 352 2V / 1968/76: Y = 360 2V (no 4V's available), H = 390 2V
