It's an XLS so it's basic and stripped down. Nice looking but way too high a price tag. Plus no idea if it has high idle time on motor. Someone here quoted 1 hr idle = 35 miles....
That Is correct! But that price is way too high for a base EX
....there's a loaded '04 Limited 6.0 2wd with gorgeous aftermarket rims and new tires with 148k on the clock for $14,900.
The 6.0 engine makes that truck "cheap". If it hasn't had extensive engine repairs yet, they are right around the corner.

It's possible for a variety of reasons. I have a 2001 Crown Victoria police package with 20,000 original miles on it. Not a scratch or dent on it anywhere, just like new. And it's because I have a lot of vehicles sitting around to drive.
Mine will be up for sale again next year. I have had my TT listed along with a pic of the X in the ad. I have had alot of people that want the X, but it is hard to sell the trailer. the X has 72k miles, I had it listed for $13.5k. unfortunatley I need to sell the trailer before the X!
Good deals only last a week or so.
I find a few listed for only a week or so that are traded in to new car
dealers, they go to auction after about 7 days.
Just check online car places (cars.com, autotrader.com, etc.)
every two days - I would be more concerned with a LOW mileage
vehicle - why hasn't it been driven? Probably "nothing" has ever been
replaced. (VASheriff's got a fine looking Ex with low miles in great shape that needs a new home)
I have a red 2002 X Limited, all options besides the dvd stuff. Less than 75k atm, and it is one of a few I have owned and driven. Body is in nice shape a few small scratches here and there as I live in the woods otherwise an excellent specimen with a V10 and I don't think I would even ask $15k if I was to try and sell it.

They are out there if you can find them.

I know it was over priced but didnt know by how much. the dealer also said i couldnt see it this weekend because they rented it out to someone!! now i think it is worth even less! lol

No. Im in the chicago suburbs. And yes i also had it listed as a pkg deal! I think it was $26,500? I dont remember off hand! It is an 07 32foot quad bunk tt with a superslide. And alot of options.
Good luck selling yours, Sheriff. Don't know why someone doesn't ****** it up!

Because everybody has come to believe that Excursions aren't worth anything anymore. A lot of it starts right here in these forums. Every time anybody posts a link to a nice Excursion and asks for advice as to whether an Excursion with 21,000 miles is worth $16,995, everybody jumps on the band wagon and says it's way overpriced and to offer the seller around $8,000.
Every time I mention my 2003 Limited 4X4 V10 with 56,000 miles for $12,995, I get flooded with requests if I will take $7,500 cash. Are people realy so stupid that they don't realize I can park it out front, set it on fire, and get more than $7,500 from the insurance? Don't they realize it's the absolute dumbest question they have ever asked anybody?
Every day..... we.... the members of this forum, shoot ourselves in the foot over the value of Excursions.

How true! the same people that tell someone it`s only worth the lowest amount possible are the same ones that will want top dollar for theirs if they sell it!

Now that you mention it, I HAVE noticed that happening. I think there's a lot of truth to what you're saying. It's odd how many folks advise posters to lowball, even on some trucks that seem nice or are low mileage.
Also, I was just browsing Auto Trader the other day and
1)couldn't believe how many rigs are for sale right now and
2)the prices seemed kinda low
I guess with every passing year, they're just getting older. Just like their owners......but I digress.
Tho, having said that, look how many new people pop up in this forum every month looking to buy one?! They DO seem to have some allure even 7 years after the last one rolled off the line.
I really love driving my Ex. And it's even more enjoyable because the experience is shared with this group. My ownership experience would NOT be the same without this group!
Have a good night, I'll stop blabbering now.....
