Update on Tune & Delete
14 days ago was “D” (delete) day – Delete the DPF and CAT – and install the H&S mini maxx.
Since that time I have put on 1128 miles – without once have to tolerate the “Cleaning Exhaust Filter”
On the trip back from Southern Illinois 421 miles on one tank – 404 on interstate highway with cruise set between 65 and 67 mph. The other 17 miles were County roads and some off road getting to deer stands. Hand calculated mpg was 20.02 MPG –
Exciting moment- the first time I had to jump on the “go pedal” it was “holy crap - hang on”
I’ve owned this truck of 26 months and the last two weeks I have come to appreciate what this truck can do. To those in doubt about deleting – I’ve been there – but I won’t go back.
