i have a problem with my clutch. it seem like after a couple times of use it starts to lose pressure. i do see a damp spot on my firewall under the hood and the paint under the dash where the pushrod comes through. ive already replaced the slave cylinder. BTW does anyone know the proper way to bleed these systems. i have a t19 borg-warner if that helps
The BEST way is, _don't_. If either the master or slave is shot, the other is probably not long for this world either. And for less than the cost of both, you can get a complete pre-built pre-filled pre-bled master-line-slave assembly and install the whole thing in minutes, no bleeding.
Otherwise, there are a few different ways. I had to do it once. Pre-filled the slave and "burped" it with the slave rod. Then hooked the line up and pushed the pushrod a little before tightening the fitting, to see fluid come out. Then I installed it as an assembly, and just pushed backward on the fork several times, to push back the slave rod, with the cap off, to burp out remaining air. Took a while.
