Cant believe I don't have a pic of this upon dis-assembly, but where does the negative cable ground to the body??

Is your truck converted to 12 volts?

If it's stock, 6 volt positive ground, the negative cable goes to the starter solenoid/relay. The positive cable goes to the engine block on mine, and another ground should go from the engine block to the cab or frame.

Presently it is stock 6v which in the spring will be converted to 12v..

Well, now I know why that cable going to the solenoid was black instead of red...lol.

Getting ready to put some juice to it to check all the new wiring and lights..
Glad I asked thanks
