Engine compartment question
I have a gas V8 ex - was running fine Friday night, parked it, went back out to move it into driveway and refuses to start. Engine turns, has power (battery fine), has fuel in tank, but its not starting and after cranking ignition the lights and electronics blink and whole thing sounds like its trying to reset something. We checked fuses, relays, fuel pump shut off switch.... All are fine. We even checked the computer for codes and there aren't any. One thing we can't figure out is what the round component is next to the air filter that has pressurized lines going to it. There's one in our V10 350 truck too. Chilton manual shows it in the pictures but doesn't identify what it is. The "resetting" sounds are coming from that general area.
