no low 4x4 esof

4x4 works in 4 high put in 4 low and you hear some clicking and then it goes to 2 wheel drive and will not go in 4 low or high at that time kill the truck and restart it and it will go in 4 high if you try 4 low again you have to kill it and restrat to use 4 high 2001 f350 cc 7.3 4x4 esof auto

in neutral foot on brake i go to 4 h when light is on i go to 4 l i have had 3 trucks with the esof 2 were gas 04 and03

i do have the vacuum part unhooked at the fender i lock hubs

Have you actually driven it in 4x4H to verify it is working? If it is, I will send you the testing/troubleshooting steps to follow for 4x4L.

yes i used it to pull logs last weekend 4 h would spin all 4 tires 4l only rear tires

I have the exact same problem on my 2002 F350 5.4 ZF-6. I am planning on ditching the entire ESOf. Currently have all the manual shift pieces, just waiting for a good day to pull the motor and do the welding and cutting on the motor to accept the manual linkage. But since my Ex still has all the ESOf stuff I'd like the troubleshooting info. I'll shoot you a pm.
