Help with diagnostic troble codes!

Do anybody had have the code

# 332 ( Insufficient EGR flow? IF so! how can I fit it?

I also have codes:

#634= MLP sensor voltage out of self-test range.

#653= trnsmission control switch did not change states during KEOR self- test

# 654= trnsmission range sensor not indicating "PARK" during KOEO self- test

#452= insufficient input from VSS(what's the VSS?)


Can somebody help me with this codes and tell me; where I need work. Thank's

Read this. 653 means you didn't shift the lever when the computer prompted you to, or (considering 654 & 634) the MLPS is bad. VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) is the one on the top of the rear diff. 332 is usually a vacuum leak at the reservoir on the R wheelwell.

What vehicle/engine are you working on?

It's easy if you have a couple of wrenches. The Haynes manual would tell you exactly how, but basically, chock the wheels, put it in Neutral, unbolt it, disconnect the wires, plug in the new one, & bolt it back on so the marks are aligned.

Sorry; I have been working and have not login in a while; I have a 1994 F-150. auto whith the 4.9 on it.

I have a 1998 Ranger with a 3.0 V6 I am showing a DTC of P1400 (Differential Feedback EGR Circuit Low Input). Does anyone know what that means????

check for a broken upstream DPFE sensor hose(one of 2 hoses from exaust manifold to sensor) if it is ok the sensor is probally bad

I also have 94 F150 with a 4.9 engine. I have pretty much the same problem. We removed the EEGR valve (located north/center of engine capartment when facing engine) and cleaned it and reattached it. There is a great big difference, but not perect. I thought the EGR sensor (connected to EEGR valve) or the EGR solenoid, but a manchanic told a friend it was the EEGR valve. So I'm going to buy a new one (runs about $85.) Keep your finger cross. I'll keep you posted.
