WON'T IDLE
I have a 1987 F250 with a 351 that just wont idle well.It wont idle under 1000 rpm's and the idle floats up and down.
When I get on the gas with it in park the engin does not seem to wind down as fast as it should. Can this be an intake leak? If so what would be the best way to test for a leak?
It has a holly 4180-c carb that has what I think are 4 idle mixture screws, two under the bowl on the primary side and two under the bowl on the secondary side. Does any body know what the ajustment is on the screws?
