rear end

Can someone tell me what year trucks rear end will fit my 2001 f150 4x4. I need to get a used rear end and not sure what years will fit. Thanks

do you have drums or disc brakes in the back ? You need to keep the same gear ratio as old so it will match the front.

Thanks Steve, We found one at pull apart and they have all the info on cross reference. I'm kind of dumb when it comes to all the gears and such info. Just a old school guy trying to keep all this new style stuff fixed and this forum helps a lot. It's hard for me to diagnose but I can usually fix if I know whats wrong so I get on here and see if others are having the same problems so I can fix mine. To everyone on here that takes the time to respond to questions THANKS it sure helps to not have to go to Ford dealer to fix they charge more than the truck is worth to do even the smallest thing.
