Get a 3in body lift, this will clear 38in swampers, my buddy did it to his 86 and it was f***ing badass looking
Looking badass is all subjective. I think body lifts look absolutely terrible and would NEVER run one on my truck. With the leaf sprung TTB you are pretty much stuck with the several lift kits available. Unlike the coil spring TTB, you cant get small amounts of lift for cheap.
A body lift is a horrible idea. It throws the steering column out of alignment, all your brake hoses, your bumpers, shifters, linkages, etc.
The best way to do it is a suspension lift. This is, most of the time, a set of blocks in the rear, and a set of springs up front. Check online for companies like Rough Country.
idk my buddy was a total redneck, but he did the truck up nice and it looked killer. I'm personally not a very big fan of bodylifts either but for like a 100 bucks can't go wrong...
Um, why dont you try starting with some info and a real question. I dont normally gripe bout short hand type posts. But this is not even a post, its a demand. Also the search function will reveal wonders bout how to lift any truck here.
The short answer is; it's not going to be cheap, unless you do lift the body. They left out how a body lift messes up the alignment of the fan to the radiator, and how the radiator shroud has to be cut out at the bottom.
