Old recall but important

Been a very long time since I went to the dealer but I did go for some dignostics for a pressure problem I had that was solved with a new HPOP I got from RiffRaff, the T500. Anyway, they told me I had a recall that I thought I was up on but somehow missed.

The brake pressure sensor/switch for the cruise control they said could start a fire. Looks like a hack job to me but they cut in the loom, cut the wires and hooked up a fused wire/jumper there in the middle. They left me to cut the excess 10 inches of zip tie...nice guys. Wouldnt ya know, my ABS light came on the next day for 2 days straight for the first time I bought the beast in '96. heres the nittygritty:

Ya i had that recall done. They didnt have to splice any wires though. They just unplug the pig tail from the sensor and put a fuse with conectors on each side and plug it back in.

Yeah, they handed me mine and I put it on myself. Just a plug and play pigtail. I sure as hell wouldn't go back to that dealership!

There are some good dealers but most don't know chit. Most service techs now are just part changers. No disrespect

A fused wire/jumper or harness is a special wire or you can see a fuse there? Because I bougth one and I cant see any fuse, so is the wired fused? or I have missing something?. I ordered it from RiffRaff some time ago and for my surprise is the same color and # (and not any visible porta fuse) that was in the truck (surely the PO went to the recall).
