another 6.0 engine swap ???

i have a 2004 built jan 8 2004 f350 bad motor, injector harness and ficm harness.

and a good running low mile 2005 f350 built dec 10 2005

im sure motor and injector harness is close or same what about ficm harness??

they both have the 5r110 so i can take the dash and all wiring comp ect and swap it to the 04 and it will run the trans right..?

when i first put post up i thought the 04 had a 4r100 but i was wrong.. so hopefully it makes scene still

any thoughts?? thanks jason

It's readily doable since an 05 and late 04 are so close. Transmission's are identical so no computer swap needed. Basically it's getting the correct harness hookup because of differences in sensor location. Motor operation should be virtually the same.

the 04 has been a problem child.. the 05 runs great no prob.. thats why i figure take dash cluster and all wiring from 05 for the 04. so i was going to change comp and all engine harnesses.. the 04 will just have a better looking dash in it and actually run if all goes well just dont want to run into any unforeseen problem
