With a little parts swapping a few weeks back i ended up with a couple of AOD transmissions. I know very little about these tranys other than i can replace a C/4 with them. So i need to know what i have as far as the year they are and what they came out of, then i can decide if they are worth trying to use.
I was thinking about putting one in my 73 F-100 behind a 302 i have in it now.
I have the manual for the AOD-E. I can check the front of the book, as it gives instructions on how to read those tags. I will have to check tonight when I get off work, though, and let you know tomorrow.

I got all that information and some more a few days ago from "NumberDummy", but thanks for the offer to help. They are both 84 Lin. town car, behind 302s. Not as new as i wanted ,but i can work with one of them. Price was right, traded a broken standard for them.__
