4wd problem

Hey yall,

I have a problem with my 4wd, its not the usual ESOF hub locking problem, its something else.

When i turn the switch for 4 high, the light in the dash doesnt even come on...I checked the fuses and the wires coming out of the back of the switch on the dash and everything seemed okay, any ideas?

With winter approaching i want to get this fixed asap...

Mine does the same thing. I was able to get the 4wd to work, but the light still does not come on. I know the light works because I did the test on the dash. Does your 4wd still kick in?

No 4wd wont engage at all, i really have no idea what to do, right when i turn the key i do see the 4wd light flash along with all the others, so i know its still there

Lock hubs, grab a buddy, slowly drive truck in parking lot while you or buddy looks to see if the front driveshaft is spinning, then get back to us

You should be able to simply put the key in the on position and move the switch. You can typically hear the tc motor engage. I had to change the tc motor to get mine to switch, apparently there are sensors that go bad and cause it to not move at all.
