4WD Dash light
I have a 1992 Explorer. The 4wd system works well.
Here's the interesting thing...
When I hit the 4wd button, the light next to the button lights up bright as it should. But anytime the 4wd system is disengaged, the light next to 4wd high is slightly illuminated and stays that way.
The light next to the 4wd low button illuminates when engaged, and goes off when disengaged as normal.
Not something I'm too concerned about as it's done this since my parents bought the vehicle in 1996, but it was just given to me and I'm trying to diagnose all it's wierd little quirks.
Anyone ever have that happen?

I'll take a stab.
I think that that light is always powered and is run to ground by a switch on the transfer case. If there is a wiring problem and it's getting a resistive path to ground somewhere the light would light up dimly. Sounds like you need to trace the wiring out...
