I have been looking, and can not find a patch, filler panel for the indent for where the spare tire mounts. I am getting rid of the spare tire mount and fender indent. Now I have found a full fender for around 350 dollars. Does anyone know where I can find a filler panel, or do I just buy a new fender?
i think you are lookng at a fender
though i looked at the fender on my wrong bed for patch decided for new fender to much showes
held my patches to below steps
Was in the same position, could'nt find a replacement and ended up buying a non cutout fender, very disappointed with the thin material. If you have the original, or able to locate a used fender in need of repair, suggest check with auto body shops. Fortunately happened upon a craftsman who can work wonders at a reasonable price and recondition the original fender, regret I did not look into this option sooner.
Flareside left rear fender with the cut-out for the spare tire was an extra cost option.
Since there are two different rear fenders, and the one without the cut-out is faaar more common, I doubt you'll find a patch panel.
B7C-16313-A .. Left Rear Fender-Without cut-out for spare tire.
Applications: All1957/79 F100/350 Flaresides.
Considering the applications, I would think you could find a good user instead of buying a repro.
Thanks NumberDummy,
I catch the hint "faaar more common". I will keep the tire rack and cut out fender, which is faaaar less common at car and truck shows.
