My point was ALL makes have problems. When makes have problems people tend to" vote with their feet" and buy another brand. I have been on both sides of the fence I'm an engineer and I ran the warranty/customer service dept. for a former employer of mine and I can tell you no company wants warranties its bad press. It does sound like you have a good dealer and when you have a problem a good dealer will make the difference. I wish you luck and keep us posted.
Man you must have bad luck My dad owens 3 rangers he uses for his business ones a 93 with 250K miles only chich and fuel pump replaced. A 98 180K miles and no parts replaced. A 03 with 300K but the motor was replaced at 240K because an employee overheated it.

If the CanBus doesn't report a code problem or a pending one it is usually a mechanical/physical one. U are looking for a body code. Feet on the ground answer.
