Does anyone know how to separate the front axle and u-joint from the steering knuckle. I just replaced one side of ball joints and setting new ball joints would be alot easier if i knew how to separate axle from knuckle. Is it one piece or does is come apart. I still have one more side to do and I'm sidelined right now from a helmet to helmet hit!!! Right now I am sailing my white flag upon further review.

 

take the locking/auto hub off, and inside there should be a snap ring and a few washers. take those off and the axle should come apart from the hub/knuckle....
