Ok, so this may be a dumb question, but I've got a weird Vin. Before posting, I did a search on here, and on the net, but I'm still stumped. according to everything I've read,
a vin for a 56 F100 should start with "F10"......Mine doesn't. What's up with that?
It's not really a big deal, because it's been legally registered in my name as a 56 F100, but it would be interesting to figure out what it means. So as I said, I did the search, but as previously noted, I'm also no Bill Gates, so maybe I just didn't search for the right thing.
Here's a pic of the tag, and I have confirmed that the stamp on the frame is the same (except for the last 3 digits, which are too faint to read), so the tag and the frame belong together. The cab and box are definitely 56, has someone been moving vin tags around?
Does anybody know what's up with this?

Reason: dead link for pic
Unfortunately, I don't have any VIN decode data that goes that new, so I'm at a loss to help much. Ford of Canada changed their coding several times, post war, and yours is different than mine. But the T would indicate 1956, fwiw.
