Does the stock pitman arm have any value from my 52 F-3? I am working on the Toyota steering box conversion and don't want to hack up the original arm if someone can use it. I plan on grafting the 2 arms together unless the original has any value.....would help offset the hybrid arm that I would need to buy.
Thanks for all the advice

I would say if the ball is still mostly round (which most are not) then it would have some value maybe $30-60 range??? I think you can buy new ones for about $60-70?
F-1 through F-3 are the same.
Can't remember for sure now, and or who was selling them. seems like they may not have had any in stock? seems like someone is always looking for one though.
EDIT MAcs has them for $89.95
C & G Early Ford has them listed at $47.50 but is a 2009 catalog so I don't know if that's still the right price??
Agree with Josh. Most are damaged on the ball end. New repros are available, but don't know the quality, fit and finish. Either way, an original with a worn ball isn't good either.
Thanks guys, i will check the ball end tonight...if it is good I will give someone a good deal to help buy down the cost of the one I need rather than ruin an original.

I would also worry about welding two very critical parts together. You may be the best welder in the world but if this part breaks because the metal became brittle you are up a creek without a paddle if you are traveling at speed on a highway.
Pete, you're right about the 90 bucks vs safety ....I've been know to squeak when I walk at times! LOL!! I will be taking your advice and investing in the Hybrid pitman arm that is currently available. My original looks almost exactly like the picture you sent, so I guess it's toast.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction....again.
