96 F150 clock spring installation
I've been working on my ignition actuator for a couple weeks now. (an hour or so at a time) Now I'm to the point of putting it all back together and I can't get the clock spring to fully seat and lock in to all three tabs.
If I remove the turn signal canceling cam below the clock spring it will go right on with no problems. Is there a trick to getting this all to line up right?
It is a 96 F150 2wd with tilt column.

Thanks again Lazy K. I have all of the instructions that I need, both written and video. I just need to see why it's not working correctly. I just now noticed that when the turn signal cancel cam is installed it doesn't line up with the button on the turn signal switch itself. So, something is not installed correctly. It's back to the diagrams for me to figure out what I did wrong.
