Problem with wipers....

Problem with wipers....
When I turn on the wipers on my '94 F150 they will only come on when they're turned on the fastest speed. They don't work on intermittent at all. Is there an easy fix for this? When there's a slight drizzle and I have them on high speed they drag on the dry glass and I don't want to get the windshield all marked up. Thanks....
