Possessed windshield wipers

Today i was riding down the road in my 97 F150, when suddenly the wipers came on at high speed and i didnt turn them on! Any ideas on this? :-X23

Possessed windshield wipers

This was a fairly common problems that year, it is due to the multi-functional stalk not working properly (faulty switch).. the fix is to replace that stalk
