Well... yes at an angle an then at the gas pedal the little plastic piece that fits into the pedal arm. Seems like it should be a better connection from cable to pedal arm. The setup on the stock intake is a little off and crimps the spring.. just all in all is not a great setup. I need a bout a 1/4 to 1/2 inch more pedal.. thanks
The pedal travel is a good thing to check. I am assuming with the engine off, and with someone holding the pedal to the floor, you are looking down the carb throat and making sure the blades are wide open?
Don't know what to tell you about the throttle linkage. I always seem to be making a little bracket or modfying something each time I install a aftermarket carb.
