4.0 OHV BBK TB, idleing high.

I put a BBK TB on my truck a few weeks ago, and I never got the idle down low enough, mainly because I had just done other work to the truck that lasted 3 weeks and I wanted to get it the ***** out of my shop! So now that I have been driving it I wants to get the idle adjusted where it needs to be to save on gas. So I know the steps, unplug the IAC, start the truck, turn the screw till the tach reads 500RPM, turn truck off, disconnect battery, re connect battery, plug in IAC, truck should idle at 750RPM Only problem, how do I get my hand at the screw to adjust it, while the engine is running? Last time I tried I burn my knuckle on the belts, not fun.

With the engine off & cool/warm adj the preset screw say 1/4 turn & note how many rpm it drops when running, then with a little math you'll know how much to turn it to get to your target rpm.
