Temperature Gauge Intermittent
I have a 99 Ranger that the temp gauge is intermittent. I had a thread a couple of months back about my engine running too cool. I noticed the temp gauge issue after a coolant flush so I tried burping the truck as suggested on this forum. It seemed to work, but now I noticed that after driving 20-30mins. that the gauge indication will drop as if the engine hasn't been running and is cold. Sometimes it will come back up after a while.
I tried a new temp sensor, but I have the same results.
The wiring that I can see looks fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
