You need to state whether you have a short bed or a long bed. There's a difference of about 10 gallons.

In my short bed truck I've gone as far as 510 miles on a tank.

Just recently I achieved my 2nd highest MPG ever for my truck at 16.7. Best ever was 16.9 well over 150,000 miles ago. Terminator T500 made a difference of about 1 MPG for me. I forgot I have an ECONO tune on my chip so I'm trying that one this tank to see if I can crack the elusive 17 MPG.

2000 CCSB 4x4. I get from 400-450 miles to a tank. Anywhere from 15-17 mpg, but I drive like Im driving Miss Daisey most of the time. 17.8 mpg is my best on the road so far.

310-320 is normal for my shortbed. I religiously fill up at 1/4 tank to keep condensation down. Just a habit I picked up making deliveries with a fleet. Their policy was always always fill up at 1/4 tank.

F350 4wd long bed.

I alway keep tank full due some reason. The lowest I did was 28 gallons at 550 miles. Truck alway got 16-21 with extremely tired engine.

99 CC short 4x4
Most I ever put on one tank 383. about 240 highway, the rest in town.
I won't let the light turn on, I have no idea what in the bottom of my tank.

I've been playing with using +Cetane and there is a definate difference between the PS white and silver bottles. Using the silver bottles I can push my in town average over 17 mpg and while white (winterizer formula) only pushes me over 16.
I get 15.3 running stock... and lead footed. my wife can get better, but she follows the "not over 2k" while I constantly hit the red.

It'll take me a year to run enough fuel to give a better read of how I'm doing though. I'm only 8 tanks in on this truck. If you want to see how bad I'm doing you can watch my fuelly... I'm retentive about recording all fuel that goes into the vehicle.
I had over 40k miles recorded for both of my other cars (each) but my kids shredded the gas books.
I've since gone digital and out of their reach for water damage.

Lets see here, at 35.6 miles per gallon holding 38 gallons that's 1352.8 miles on a single tank. I win.

You win!

I don't think I've ever gone a full tank without hooking to a trailer of some sort. When the company gives you a fuel card who cares....
