I posted a pic of my truck awhile back while I was rcouping in a convalescent home after a bad motorcycle wreck. With the help of some kind folks on this forum the best I can describe it is as a 65 F150 body on a 1978 F250 4x4 frame. I had it put on the back of a transport and hauled from Idaho to CA. It's suprisingly clean for its age. Now that I'm feeling better I can tinker with it some. I want to post som pics but can't remember how to do it.

With the help of some kind folks on this forum the best I can describe it is as a 65 F150 (no F150's until 1975) body on a 1978 F250 4x4 frame.
Two pics are present. Click on '1965 Ford F-250' below FTE user name.
1965/66 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD 8' Stylesides have a 129" wheelbase / 1973/79 F250 8' Stylesides have a 133" wheelbase.
Looking at pic, I don't see that much of a gap between the bed and cab to indicate a 133" wheelbase.
1961/65 F100/250 4WD, 1966 F250 4WD came with 1957/60 Styleside beds. 1966 F100 4WD used the same Styleside beds as 1964/66 F100/250 2WD
If this truck has 5 lug wheels, it could be a 1966 F100 4WD / Post the VIN listed on the registration (Pink Slip). When decoded, the year/series will be known, whether it was 2WD or 4WD originally.
