Thank you. I forgot it should be a "wrong bed" and didn't know that 4x4s had the cab step. If you bought a 4wd new in 1965 was a 1965 f100 2wd styleside bed an option you could order?

No, 'wrong 1957/60' were the only Styleside beds available for 1965 F100/250 4WD, 1966 F250 4WD.
I blew the pic up and it looks like all the anodized trim is being held on with rusted sheet metal screw. I think it porbably is a true 65 4wd cab.Just has the trim added on from whatever CC truck he took the bed from. Makes me wonder what he did to the back frame after the cab to get the bed to line up. This is where I go into buyer beware mode. I would look that back half over real close.
Edit: I alway have to go back and take a second look. Something looks out of whack with that steering wheel and column. Cant put my finger on it. Gap is to big between the wheel and the blinker light switch bearing housing. Might just need the tube pulled up a little dont know.
Aren't you overlooking the most important part --"It is Black" Details, gentlemen, details!!!!
You can see the "Caribbean Turquoise" coming through under the black.
I think the money he wants for it is nutz. I am sure it has many many issues. Considering the area of Wisconsin that truck is from only has 2 months without snow. I can only imagine that its a rust bucket and is being held together with fiberglass.
