Does someone have a picture of the fuel filler tube and hose. I am looking for the correct ones for my tank. I also need to know what goes in the hole in center of middle of top of tank. Vent?
Any filler for a rear tank on a 80 thru 86 pickup should work. Like was mentioned in the link, you could even use a later setup if you used both the small and larger pipes like they are configured for that year.
The top center smaller port on the tank is for a roll-over valve/vent combo. The vent hooks to a small line that joins with the other one on the front tank, and goes up to the charcoal canister. Like was said in the link, the main venting while filling is incorporated in the filler neck, the smaller vent is just for temp changes and when the engine uses fuel from the tank.
I see you have a 460, so you will need the tank that accommodates the sending units with the electric pumps and the return lines, unless you are doing away with that system.
