I am needing information on whats needed as far as making the belts work on this engine since I have removed the P.S pump. Originally the crankshaft pulley and the alt. are running together.

The water pump has a single groove pulley and it does not line up with the others ( too far back ) so I need to get that water pump spinning.

What should I be looking for specifically as far as either changing the water pump pulley or changing something else.

Surely this was done factory on some applications and again I just need to know what parts I should be looking for. Thanks

1970 351W would be from a car, since 1975 was the first year for Econolines and 1981 for F150/350 & Bronco's.

So, what you want is the 1970 car belt set up without P/S, that may be hard to figure out, as all came with P/S.

Galaxie/LTD, Fairlane/Torino, Mustang/Cougar.

Evidently I do have a photobucket account, I guess I opened it and then forgot about it, anyway here is link to a ( poor maybe ) picture of the new set-up. I can take better photos if anyone wants one.

I did not have to cut or modify a thing to make this work, just got rid of the two top brackets, bolted the Alt. directly to the head and used the original lower bracket or slider. http://s675.beta.photobucket.com/use...ml?sort=3&o=16
