Have a 2002 F250 and my headlights will not turn off. They are also not as bright as the low beams. I would say about 70%. It is not a Canadian model. US only. Never had DRL. Truck is stock and no work has been done for a long time. Disconnected headlight switch and lights stay on. For some reason I am getting a constant power read on the blue/white wire on DS headlamp switch even with both headlamps unplugged. When I put the DS headlamp back in I get a power reading on PS green/orange wire. Started unplugging fuses to find the what would would kill power to headlamps. The only fuse that would kill the headlamps is the PCM Keep-Alive fuse.

Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
I’m having the same problem. How did you fix this issue?
The PCM will do whatever the headlight switch told it to do last. So even if you disconnect the switch it remembers what it was last told to do. I would guess that your headlight switch last told headlights to stay on. And now it's not working anymore.
Thanks. I put a brand new switch in. Same problem. Left low beam stays on even after I pull the fuse. Not familiar with electrical issues at all. I’m a three wire kinda guy lol.
Okay I got a couple of tips. It could be your ignition switch screwing up. You might want to double-check that. Also the PCM can reprogrammed to keep the headlights on. You could go in there and check how it's programmed with a coder.
Somebody may have done that before you bought the vehicle?
