Which years and models....

Which years and models did the V-10 with 3V heads come in that's rated at 362hp and 457tq? How do you identify 2v from 3v visually?

I recently purchased a '66 Econoline pickup that we are building into a tow truck. I'm new to the V10's but I know I want one for this project. We will be building a custom chassis, pickup bed will be removed and we will fab up a flatbed with goose neck and fifth wheel hitch. It will also have tandem drive Ford 9" rear axles made by Differential Engineering. Essentially it will look like a cab over Mac from the 70's.

Thanks, Doug.

Pick up trucks 2005 got the 3v. The vans have 2v, I'm not sure if and when they got the 3v.

This is a 2008

The E series vans never did get the 3V V10. The E350SD still gets the 2V V10. The 3V won't fit.
