79 F150 Stepside Build
Hello everyone,
Ive posted around here for awhile so I figured Id start a build thread even though its a little late I still have lots of plans for this truck.
Currently I have redone most of the interior, just some odds and ends need finished. The truck is very solid mechanically and body wise. Its lifted 4in and sitting on 35'' Procomp Mud Terrains with Mickey Thompson Classic 2 rims. The exhaust is dual side pipes from Patriot, I actually have a thread on here somewhere on how I mounted and routed the pipes if you are interested.
Anyways, the first phase of my project is going to be building a motor then swapping that in. I am pretty sure on going with a 460 but am open to opinions. Currently the truck has a 390 with a 2bbl carb.

That is one sweet looking truck!!
It looks finished to me. If that's a project truck I need to start buying nicer vehicles for my projects!!
With that truck I don't think you can go wrong as far as engine choice goes. As long as you stick with a Ford engine!
